Author's Note: Reader-chan is meant to be Kurt's fraternal twin in this, just because I love Kurt to pieces and I would love to be his sister and spend time with him. Lots of Klaine mentioned in this, because Klaine is adorable. Also, this takes place starting in 'Pot o' Gold', and goes into 'Heart', but follows a different plotline. Just gonna warn you now, this is crappy but I really do not have time to fix it because I did this when I should have been doing homework but I really want to upload something so I'm going to upload it anyway.

You sighed, frown flitting across your face as Blaine and Kurt bounded into the choir room, hands intertwined. Your eyes then flicked to Santana and Brittany, Finn and Rachel, and Mike and Tina. You were happy for all of them, really you were, but seeing all these couples…it made you sad. And, if you were being completely honest with yourself, a little jealous.

They were just so in love with each other, and you wanted a relationship like that with someone.

You wanted to meet someone, like how Kurt met Blaine or how Rachel met Finn, and you wanted to just know that they were perfect for you.

The day Kurt had first met Blaine, he had come home, and told you all about it. And you could tell that he was absolutely smitten. And when you met Blaine a couple months later, once they were finally dating, you knew that he had it just as bad as Kurt did.

You wanted the cheesy, fairytale moment that every romantic-comedy you and Kurt had ever watched seemed to have. It was a dream of yours, one that you were fairly certain would never happen.

Why should it? Maybe your standards were too high?

It wasn’t like you had never dated before, you had, but none of the relationships felt right. There was something missing, and you hoped that someday you’d figure out what it was.

--------------------------

‘Someday’ ended up happening the following week.

The moment you got to school, something felt different. Was something wrong?

You weren’t sure why you felt so weird, so you shrugged it off and opened your locker, pretending that everything was normal, because there were was no reason for today to feel special.

-----------------------------

You watched, large frown spreading across your face as one of the hockey players shoved some boy you didn’t recognize into a locker. You hurried over to him, shooting the jersey-clothed boy a glare as you held out a hand to the boy. You pretended you didn’t feel sparks shooting up your arm as he gratefully took your hand, focusing on helping him to his feet instead.

“Are you okay?” You asked kindly, eyes scanning up and down his body for any signs of injuries.

“’M fine.” He said, and oh you were not at all prepared for that adorable accent or the shy smile that followed.

You couldn’t fight the blush that crawled up your cheeks, smiling softly back before you decided to speak again. “I haven’t seen you around, are you new?”

He nodded. “I’m an exchange student, I’m staying with Brittany Pierce.” He answered, raising an eyebrow, asking if you knew her.

“Ohhh, are you Rory? She thinks that you’re a leprechaun, doesn’t she?”

“That’s me.” Rory responded, chuckling quietly. “I didn’t catch your name?”

“__y/n__.” You said, only just now realizing as you went to shake his hand that you hadn’t actually let go of his hand yet. “Sorry!” You exclaimed, blush flaring up as you dropped his hand. “I’ve, uh, gotta get to class. I’ll see you around.” You squeaked, practically running down the hallway.

Rory smiled at you as you fled; he thought your shyness was rather adorable.

----------------------

“You just met someone.” Kurt stated simply as you slid into the seat beside him.

You rifled through your backpack, staying silent as you pulled out your Spanish homework.

Kurt rolled his eyes at you. “__y/n__, I’ve literally known you since we were in the womb, it’s no use trying to hide anything from me.”

“I’m not trying to hide anything from you, I just don’t want to get either of our hopes up when I barely know the guy.”

“I still want details.” Kurt shrugged. “So what’s he like? Should I start planning the wedding? Do you want a fall or a spring wedding?”

“Easy there my fabulous little tiger, I talked to him for a whole two seconds, I think you should hold off on the floral arrangements.”

Kurt just looked at you expectantly.

“He’s got these eyes, jesus, they’re bright. And they’re just so blue. And Kurt, hold onto your hat, because here’s the best part.” Kurt brought a hand to his head, pretending to hold onto a hat. “He’s Irish, Kurt. And he’s got the accent.” You sighed, resting your chin on your palm. “He’s adorable.”

Kurt smiled at you. “You’re smitten like a freaking kitten aren’t you?”

You stuck your tongue out at him. “I don’t know anything about him! What if he hates musicals? Oh god, what if he doesn’t like to sing? I need someone that likes to sing, Kurt, I want to have little duets in the car like you and Blaine do when you forget that I’m in the backseat. Which, by the way, became totally inappropriate when you started singing ‘Talk Dirty To Me’. You know that I absolutely adore you and Blaine as a couple, but that was just… a line was crossed there.”

“Sorry about that.” Kurt said sheepishly. “Anyways, why don’t you talk to him? Get to know him. Maybe he’ll end up loving musicals and you can sing ‘Elephant Love Medley’ to each other. And if not, then you’ll find someone who does eventually.”

You smiled at him, throwing an arm around his shoulders. “How is that my baby brother knows so much more about love than I do?”

Kurt tsked. “That’s what happens when you’re only older than me by two minutes.”

“Still two more minutes of life than you, honey.”

----------------------

Kurt jabbed you in the ribs, hissing a ‘Look!’ in your ear as you cursed quietly, extracting your earbud from your ear.

“What?” You asked in annoyance, blinking in surprise when you saw who was entering the English class that you and Kurt shared.

“Is that him?”

You nodded, reluctant to take your eyes off of Rory’s adorable face as he sunk into a seat a couple rows ahead of you.

“You were right, he is cute.” Kurt said, eying him appreciatively. You lightly smacked his arm as he continued to stare.

“Hey, you have Blaine! Eyes on your own man.”

“So overprotective.” Kurt teased. “I’m merely trying to figure out if he’d be a good match for you.”

“Oh, because the answer to that is definitely in his arms.”

“I love Blaine, you know that, but I am still allowed to appreciate an attractive guy when I see one. Anywho, you should ask him out.”

“I can’t just…ask him out. I still know nothing about him.”

Kurt shrugged. “You have a point. Like I said earlier, you should try talking to him.”

You glanced over at Rory; maybe you could at least try talking to him. He seemed nice enough when you talked earlier.

--------------------------

“He can sing, ohmygod Kurt, he can sing.” You whispered excitedly, clutching Kurt’s hands in your own.

“Little pitchy, but yeah, he’s not bad.” Kurt agreed, chuckling at your enthusiasm. Oh, young love was precious.

Blaine lightly poked his shoulder. “How long has she known him?” He asked, gesturing at you staring at Rory with little hearts in your eyes.

“A couple hours, I think.” Kurt responded. Blaine’s eyes widened.

“She’s got it bad, doesn’t she?”

“Only about as bad as I did when I met you.” Kurt answered, nudging Blaine’s shoulder with his own. “She’s a Hummel,” Kurt added. “And we tend to fall hard and fast.”

“Lucky for me.” Blaine said, pecking Kurt’s lips. “And lucky for Rory, __y/n__’s wonderful.”

--------------------

“Hi.” You said softly, falling into step beside Rory.

“__y/n__, hello!” Rory said brightly.

“I was wondering if you would-maybe-want to be my date to Sugar’s party?” You blurted out hopefully, looking down at your feet, unwilling to look up at him. You were terrified he was going to reject you, you had actually become friends in the past few weeks but you were worried that he might just see as you a friend. But of course, Kurt had somehow convinced you that you should at least try to ask him.

You blinked in surprise as Rory maneuvered a finger under your chin, letting out a soft gasp as Rory pressed a gentle kiss to your lips.

“It would be an honor.” Rory whispered against your lips. You smiled, leaning up and kissing him again.

--------------------------

Blaine and Kurt shared knowing smirks as you entered the choir room with Rory’s arm wrapped firmly around your waist.

End.  <3

I do not own Glee or any of its characters, all rights go to their rightful owners. I also do not own the picture, again all rights go to their rightful owners. Nor do I own the song 'Talk Dirty to Me' or the song 'Elephant Love Medley', all rights go to their rightful owners. I apologize for any spelling and/or grammatical errors. I also apologize if ideas are similar to other fanfics.

Request for :iconzaphireevans: because I just absolutely adore Rory and I've been wanting to write Glee fics.

Obviously in this, Rory doesn't like Sugar and doesn't ask her to be his date to her Valentine's Day party.

Sorry everyone is so out of character and sorry this is so crappy, but it's ten and I've been out of town today and I still haven't done my homework because I was writing this for you guys, I hope you at least sort of like it.
(I do still intend to do a Chuck X Reader, I just have no ideas for him currently.)

Ahhhhh I really need to go do homework and shower, good night my loves!   :iconamazingheartplz:
